Wearing your jewelry
Which hand should I wear a Pixiu bracelet on?
In most feng shui traditions, wear a Pixiu (Pi Yao) bracelet on your left wrist with the Pixiu’s head facing outward, away from your body, so it draws wealth toward you. A black obsidian Pixiu is sometimes worn on the right wrist to help release negativity. Explore the Pixiu collection.
Can I wear or stack more than one bracelet?
Yes. Many people stack stones by intention – for example, black obsidian for protection with citrine or a Pixiu for wealth. Pairing a wood mala with a gemstone bracelet is also popular.
Are your bracelets adjustable, and what size are they?
Most of our bracelets are either adjustable sliding-knot designs or elastic stretch bracelets that fit the majority of wrists. Exact bead size and length are listed on each product page.
Which wrist should I wear crystal bracelets on?
A common guideline is to wear stones whose energy you want to receive (calm, love, abundance) on the left, and stones you want to project or release with on the right. There is no strict rule – wear what feels right to you.
Caring for your pieces
How do I cleanse and charge a crystal bracelet?
Rinse it briefly under cool running water and pat dry, then let it rest in moonlight overnight. You can also place it on a cluster of clear quartz or a bed of salt to recharge. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight for stones that can fade, such as amethyst and rose quartz. Learn more in our guide to black obsidian.
Can crystal bracelets get wet?
Brief contact with water is fine for most crystals, but remove bracelets before showering, swimming, or sleeping. Keep dyed stones and porous wood beads dry.
How do I care for wood bead bracelets (sandalwood, agarwood, bodhi seed)?
Keep wood beads dry, avoid perfume and harsh chemicals, and wipe them with a soft dry cloth. Natural oils from your skin deepen their patina over time. Browse sandalwood pieces.
Crystal and gemstone meanings
Which crystals are best for wealth?
Citrine, pyrite, green aventurine, and black obsidian paired with a Pixiu are traditionally associated with wealth and abundance. See the obsidian and crystal collections.
Which crystals are best for love?
Rose quartz, strawberry quartz, and rhodonite are traditionally linked with love, compassion, and emotional healing.
Which crystals are best for protection?
Black obsidian, black tourmaline, and tiger eye are popular choices for grounding and protection from negative energy.
Are the stones natural and genuine?
Our crystal and gemstone pieces use natural stones. Because they are natural, color, pattern, and inclusions vary slightly from piece to piece – part of their authentic charm.
Symbols and mantras
What is a Pixiu (Pi Yao)?
The Pixiu is a mythical winged creature in Chinese feng shui, with a dragon’s head and a lion’s body, traditionally believed to attract wealth and guard it for its owner.
What does Om Mani Padme Hum mean?
It is the best-known mantra in Tibetan Buddhism – the six-syllable mantra of compassion associated with Avalokiteshvara. Each syllable is said to purify a different quality of the self. Explore the Om Mani Padme Hum collection.
How many beads are in a mala, and why 108?
A full mala has 108 beads. 108 is a sacred number in Buddhism and Hinduism, and the beads are used to count breaths or mantra repetitions during meditation. See our mala beads.
What is black obsidian good for?
Black obsidian is a natural volcanic glass valued for grounding and protection, and – paired with a Pixiu – for attracting and protecting wealth.
